Hi… I’m Emily..

This bits awkward for me.. so here’s an exec summary:

• I do HR strategy, leadership and delivery (but I don’t like the traditional stuff),

• I’m down to earth, love crisps and live in Yorkshire,

• I have a cat and a dog who occasionally join my calls,

• I love co-op games and have a limitless curiosity for people.

I’ve spent 10 years weaving together creativity, human-centric thinking in HR and I have a knack for making change feel less scary, and more like momentum.

Candidly though, I’m a little tired of the old HR clichés and businesses don’t need complicated solutions, they need light, human centred ones.

After working in multiple industries, I can tell you that people don’t need perfection, they need traction. When their energy meets clear direction, change stops being an idea and starts being a movement.

When I was pushed to choose between HR and Operations, I realised it was never really an either / or situation for me. My obsession with understanding an operation, taught me how the machine runs; HR showed me how to optimate the people within it. I truly believe you cannot drive lasting change without understanding how a business works and how humans move it forward.

My approach: I’ll get to know you, your team and your business then channel that energy into building environments, experiences and solutions with you that spark curiosity and shift things forward.

You need someone who can help you to protect your creativity, avoid legal headaches and keep your team happy and healthy without drowning in red tape.
